Pregnancy in 7th week shows little changes in your external body even though you are already in the middle of the first time period. Everyone may not be well aware of your pregnancy at that time unless and until you let them know. However, the internal fetus is undergoing enormous changes during 7 weeks pregnant. The external changes in the body are not very obvious at this stage. You may experience a feeling of sickness in the morning. Adding to it, you may feel nausea and may develop a vomiting tendency. It happens because a new life is developing within your body. Other common symptoms that you may face while you are in 7th week of your pregnancy are tiredness, mood swings, headaches, frequent urination, indigestion and constipation. It is advisable to drink lots of water to keep your system hydrated. Some women tend to gain weight while some loses weight. Losing weight is quite common at this stage because you have a low appetite. However, within few weeks the embryo develops rapidly and the body weight of the woman increases.

The weight of the baby is very less during pregnancy in 7th week. The embryo measures .16 inches at the beginning of the 7th week. By the end of the week the length of the embryo has doubled and measures .52 inches. The baby shows tremendous growth during this week. All the important organs such as hair, eyelids, nostrils, tongue, intestines, pancreas, and nipple follicles develop at this stage. The elbows and toes of the little one becomes more prominent as the trunk becomes straight. The lungs have also started to develop at this stage. The baby also develops reflex and shows movement.
